Should there come a future moment
And that day will be resplendent
When the leaders and the notions
Of the Right Wing are ascendant
I think they should take a lesson
In the paths they’ll be pursuing
By the tactics and the actions
That the Left Wing folks are doing
They pass a giant bill
And though the inks not even dry
They move on to the next one--
They’ve got bigger fish to fry
They shut down all the drilling
And they’ve opened up the borders
Even though no one is certain
Of the guy who gives the orders
Next they’ll get on to the taxing
Now they’ve taken care of spending
While they’re writing regulations
That are new and never-ending
Yes, they have an ample list
Checking off ad seriatim
Which they run through like a race
And we’re racing toward the bottom
We don’t need no stinkin’ hearings
And who wants all that debating
They know the graft they’re after
And don’t want to be kept waiting
Yes, those lefty politicians
All have very different styles
But none that I’m aware of
Is for reaching cross the aisles
This is easy for the left
Though its impossible for some
What a pity our last Speaker
Couldn’t walk while chewing gum
Oh, I want a happy platform
That has everyone agreeing
But when we have the gavel
I want no more wait and seeing
Yes, we’d love persuaded partners
And we all like making nice
But when defending Liberty
Alacrity’s no vice
