The pressmen print the headlines
So their papers get attention
So why is Twitter buzzing
With news, papers fail to mention?

Is a congresswoman’s past
Of shady immigration hidden?
Then why is any questioning
Seemingly forbidden

Shouldn’t Scribes be asking Bernie
(If they knew what they were doing)
For comments on the statements
That his staffers have been spewing?

Want the scoop about the Bidens?
Chances are so none or slim it’s
As if people in the newsroom
Deem that story is off limits

Was the Clinton team infected
With the virus “pay to play”?
Then I’d surely like to see
An ex post facto expose

Did Obama make a fortune
If that’s true; well, who’d a thunk it?
But if it’s a vile rumor
Do reporting to debunk it

Instead, they spread division
Some what like a plague of locust
While they’re staking out positions
To announce that they’re the woke-est

Well, I’m making my endorsement
Sure to be so woke, it’s stunning
I’m supporting seven people
Some who aren’t even running

We will fight them on the beaches
We will fight them in the clinches
Doing anything we have to
To secure those column inches

All the news that’s fit to print?
Friends, I don’t know what to think.
Are they running short of paper
Or just running out of ink?
