There’s so much I could rant about
How can a poet choose?
So, let’s reflect on all of it
With “Numbers in the News”
Children unaccompanied
Now says the DHS
Have crossed our southern border
And it’s time that they confess
We welcomed them and processed them
At monumental cost
Released them to whomever
And now a lot are lost
Thirty thousand missing
Says an ABC report
But read between the lines
That number’s just a little short
Look for front page coverage
I don’t think you’ll find any
But their own Inspector General thinks We’ve lost 3 times that many
Then there’s “jobs created”
That market’s been on fire
Then quietly, this week, we learned
Our government’s a liar
Debt is through the ceiling
And most prices are inflated
And the jobs Joe’s been creating
Are a little overstated
Could that be the reason
We see job growth in the sewer
We now know Bidenomics
Made 800,000 fewer
But Joe has done his best, you know
That’s why that man’s a hero

So far, that number’s zero
