Epstein

Throughout the years I’ve tried to stay

A hundred million miles

From anything and everything

About the Epstein Files

Touch them and you burn

He lived a life of influence

But one that was so sordid

It’s hard to comprehend that by

Such wealth he was rewarded

It’s hard to think in livelihoods

Competitive and stressful

That someone so soul-damaged

Could be so damn successful

In drawing to his circle

And riders on his flights

The who’s who of a city

In his web of acolytes

Are odiferous and warm

And left out in the open

Around them flies will swarm

It’s said the root of evil

Is cupidity and such

I’m glad for that one reason

That I don’t have very much

But was it only money

That brought us to this hour

Perhaps much more enticing

Is the arrogance of power

He surely was a villain

Like ones we meet in fables

But he may have bent the river

That finally cleans the stables
